THE LEGION OF MARY

WHAT IS THE LEGION OF MARY?

The largest Apostolic lay organization of Catholic men and women in the world.

A balanced program of prayer and work.

WHAT DOES THE LEGION OF MARY DO?

· We have a commitment to weekly meetings and weekly service calls.

· We visit parishioners door-to-door .

· We visit hospitals and institutions.

· We teach SRE.

· We assist in helping all other parish ministries.

· We espouse the DeMontfort spirituality of devotion to Mary for the reconciliation and reunion of all people in the Body of Christ.

WHY SHOULD I GET INVOLVED?

Because your Baptism calls you to be Christ’s presence in our world...

Because your faith life deepens when you begin to see Christ in everyone and you share yourself as a member of the Body of Christ...

Because the Legion of Mary fosters Unity-in-Diversity... belonging to a "small group" of people who grow in familial love for one another.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Be our guest. We meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Hall Conference Room and Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Education Building. Bring your rosary.

Have a willingness to sacrifice time and energy for your love of God.

You need not have any exceptional talent or knowledge, just a desire to grow in faith and love of Jesus.
