Baptism Ministries

Looking for:
Practicing Catholics
Desire to serve others
Friendly hospitable every day people
Willing to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere
People who have had experience with babies
Willingness to attend training and formation

To be:

Parent Session Facilitators

1. Facilitate two sessions of parent meetings (1 1/2 hours) in preparation for Baptism for 10-15 sets of parents four times a year with at least one other couple.

2. To meet with other team members quarterly for updating, planning and sharing about the ministry.

Baptism Ceremony Teams

1. To serve as a host/hostess for the Baptism ceremonies two Sundays a month, four times a year (2 hours/Baptism).

2. To arrive 45 minutes before a Baptism begins to set up for the Baptism.

3. To greet and seat families and friends as they arrive.

4. To assist the priest as needed during the ceremony.

Length of Commitment: One Year
Training Provided: Quarterly Team Meetings
