ALTAR SERVERS
WHO:
Parish boys and girls, grade 5 and above who would
like to help enhance the worship of our faith community...and
their families.
In addition, Adults are needed to help enhance our funeral services.
WHAT IS ALTAR SERVICE
ABOUT?
¨ It is a ministry in the church.
¨ It is a family ministry
¨ It is about being of service to the church gathered together
in prayer.
¨ It is not a stepping stone to the priesthood.
¨ It is a way to learn more about liturgy and catholic ritual.
¨ It is like being on any other team... your effort counts in
the smooth worship of the community.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Once a year, in the Spring, new members are invited
into the ministry of altar service. Training for upper-grade children and adults
will be held as individuals voice an interest. Watch the bulletin for details.
