Cymbals crash. A piano begins to play softly. Voices unite in song. God’s message resounds in parishioners’ hearts turning many into one.
Why do we sing? We sing because “God has bestowed upon his people the gift of song. God dwells within each human person, in the place where music takes it source. Indeed, God, the giver of song, is present whenever his people sing his praises.”

Adult Choir
No experience is necessary.
Director: Kim Wargo
Informal auditions for new members are in September and January.
Rehearsals: September – June on Tuesdays from 7:15 – 9:30 PM in the Education Building.
This choir sings at the Sunday 9:45 AM Mass, special feast days and seasonal concerts.
Youth Choir
Open to all parish students in grades 4th – 8th.
No experience is necessary.
Director: Kim Wargo
No audition necessary.
Rehearsals: September – May on Wednesdays from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in the Church.
This choir sings once a month at a Sunday 11:30 AM Mass, special Masses and events.
Teen Choir
Open to high school students.
No experience is necessary.
Informal audition for new members.
Rehearsals: September – June on Sunday afternoons.
This choir sings at the Sunday 5:00 PM Mass.
Filipino Choir
Open to all adults eager to sing in Tagolog, other Filipino dialects and English.
No experience necessary.
Director: Virginia Coquia
Very informal audition is required.
Rehearsals: Every Thursday from 7:00 – 8:30 PM in the Education Building.
This choir sings the third Sunday of the month at 11:30 AM Mass.
Spanish Choir
Open to all adults eager to sing in Spanish.
No experience necessary.
Director: Humberto Arreola
Very informal audition is required.
Rehearsals: Every Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM in Parish School room #7.
This choir sings year-round at the Sunday 1:15 PM Spanish Mass.
Instrumentalists
Experienced musicians welcome. Must be able to read music and to play at an advanced level.
Informal audition required.
Rehearsals: Will be based on ministry and event.
Instrumentalists will play at previously decided Masses and events.
Cantor Ministry
By invitation or audition only.
