Golden Rule
Do to others as you would have them do to you.
Luke 6:31

There are thoughts which are prayers.  There are moments when, whatever the posture of the body, the soul is on its knees.
Victor Hugo

About the only way we know whether we believe or not is by what we do.
Flannery O’Connor

May the God of peace himself make you perfectly holy and may you entirely, spirit, soul, and body, be preserved blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23

And God converted the dryness of my soul into a great tenderness.
St. Teresa of Ávila

Whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.  Avoid giving offense … just as I try to please everyone in every way, not seeking my own benefit but that of the many, that they may be saved!
1 Corinthians 10:31-33

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do.

And over all these put on love, that is, the bond of perfection.  And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body.
And be thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one another, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:12-17

He himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness.  By his wounds you have been healed.  For you had gone astray like sheep, but you have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.
1 Peter 2:24-25

The invocation of the holy name of Jesus is the simplest way of praying always.
Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2668

Ministries

Health Ministry

Whatever you do, do from the heart.

Colossians 3:23

Health Ministry

Whether we are grieving, lost, suffering or scared, Jesus Christ and our St. Irenaeus family are always by our side.  Health Ministry, working in His service, expresses God's love and mercy daily through a multitude of compassionate and enriching programs.  This ministry is dedicated to the spiritual care of our parish community.

May our lives proclaim your justice, may our voices sing your praise.
May our hands work in your service to the glory of your name.

Grateful by Tom Tomaszek
